The Aimable Platform and your Google data

In the Aimable Platform you can sign in with your Google account and connect your Google Calendar, so our meeting assistant can join your meetings. This page sets out what the platform receives from Google when you do that, and what it does with it. How the platform protects your data in general is set out in our Trust Center.

When you sign in with Google. Your name, email address and profile picture, to sign you in and link you to your organisation's account.

When you connect Google Calendar. Access to read the events in your main calendar and to add events to it. We use that to find the meetings that have a Google Meet, Microsoft Teams or Zoom link, so the meeting assistant can join the ones you ask it to, and to start a new Google Meet when you ask for one.

For each meeting we keep its title, start and end time and meeting link, for as long as your calendar is connected. We do not keep the description, the location or who is invited. The key that gives us access to your calendar is stored encrypted.

When you disconnect your calendar in the Aimable Workbench, we delete both. You can also remove our access in your Google account, at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

What the meeting assistant records during a meeting is covered by the agreement with your organisation, like all other data in the platform.

Aimable's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use this data only for what is described on this page. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, we do not share it unless the law requires it, and we do not use it to train any AI. Nobody at Aimable reads it, unless you ask us to for support, or security or the law requires it.
